It was the most comparable replacement to our old unit. Our old unit had both stainless steel metal exterior and interior construction. This unit only has interior material with plastic on the exterior ( not as nice ). We were told you discontinued both the unit we were fortunate to find and our old model. Please consider bringing back the higher quality units.

Started Making Arching and Sparking Noise

I just unplugged it, and tried to figure out where I purchased it from. It looks like it was BestBuy in November of 2023. But they don't seem to have any record of the purchase. The microwave has a mfg date of March 2021 The lower light stays on with 124 vac being supplied to the bulb at all times no matter wife high low or off is selected. My guess is a relay switch on the motherboard is shunted closed Being that the unit is less than 4 yrs old I would think that this problem should not happen so soon. My concern is if the motherboard is burnt what else might be going on. Is this a fire hazard or shock hazard? I would not recommend purchasing this product and be careful about any other purchases Where is the quality of parts and craftsmanship

Microwave works well enough (so far). I've had it ... a week. Exhaust fan is a joke. I had the installers out three times trying to get the fan to work, and they said all they could do was bring me another one but ... darn it, the replacement window closed already. Too bad. Very disappointed in this product. It replaced a 15-year-old Maytag that I was very, very happy with ... until it finally gave up the ghost.
